Web Developer
Location: Karachi, Lahore & Islamabad
Responsibilities:
• Analyze and develop web applications using C#, .NET 4.5.1, TFS & ASP.NET MVC.
• Work as part of a SCRUM team. Develop good working relationships with stakeholders, QA, and development
• Design, develop, document and implement new functionality, as well as enhancements, modifications, and corrections to existing software.
• Develop unit-tests and work to help implement and improve the test-driven design process.
• Identify opportunities for further enhancements and refinements to standards and processes.
• Prepare design documents; evaluate and recommend solutions to meet user requirements; define and implement solutions.
Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree in CS or equivalent combination of education and relevant work experience preferred
• 1.5 or more years of .NET experience (C# and/or ASP.NET)
• Minimum 2 years’ experience of developing and supporting web applications.
• Experience with AJAX, and JQuery.
• Expert in best practices for web application development and design patterns.
• Able to communicate effectively with non-technical staff and with members of inter disciplinary teams.
• Flexible and adaptable in regards to learning and understanding new technologies.
• General understanding of data privacy practices.
• Strong written, oral, and interpersonal communication skills.
• Ability to conduct research into software-related issues and products.
• Highly self-motivated and directed.
• Keen attention to detail.
• Proven analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment.
• Experience working both independently and in a team-oriented, collaborative environment
• Experience of ASP.net MVC will be considered a plus.
Database Developer
Location: Karachi, Lahore & Islamabad
Responsibilities:
• Collaborate directly with business owners to define reporting, data analysis request and technical specifications Build, design and deploy web and desktop based front-end report and data analysis using various RDBMS tools, especially Microsoft SQL Server 2008, MY SQL, Integration, Analysis and Reporting Services and Jasper
• Responsible for developing and maintaining data source views, dimensions, hierarchies, cubes, interactive reports
• Assist with ongoing data warehouse system design, development and operational support
• Author and modify complex SQL queries for standard and ad-hoc reporting needs
• Review, evaluate and recommend current and future reporting needs
• Collaborate with product manager and business stakeholders to refine and prioritize new requirements
• Action oriented; able to handle multiple tasks, deadlines and projects under pressure
• Clear verbal and written communications
Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree in CS or equivalent combination of education and relevant work experience preferred
• 1 plus years of experience of strong analytical background focusing on data mining, report writing, data visualization and analysis
• Experience with an RDBMS, preferably Microsoft SQL Server 2008 and MY SQL.
• Experience writing complex SQL/T-SQL queries
• Strong background in high-volume database-driven application, data model specification and evolution
• 1 plus year of experience designing and deploying data warehousing and business intelligence platform for enterprise reporting.
• BI experience will be considered a plus.
